Onlookers were seeing double at a wedding in at St Robert's Church, Pannal, Harrogate, after two sisters walked down the aisle... with two brothers.
Not only was it a double wedding but the brides were identical twins and they were each marrying brothers (although not twin brothers).
The twin sisters were Alison and Sarah Holland, 23. Alison was a dental surgery assistant and married Graham Newton, an international banker from Essex, while Sarah, formerly a secretary, married Graham’s brother, Keith, an electronic design engineer.
The twins were from Harrogate, as were the brothers, having met at Harrogate Hockey and Squash Club.
