Bradford City are pondering a move for Leeds United striker Anthony Elding.
The Valley Parade club are understood to have enquired about the possibility of signing Elding, who is poised to leave Elland Road this summer after less than six months with Leeds.

Jay Bothroyd mulls over Leeds United move: Click here for full story.Elding has already turned down the offer of a transfer to Crewe Alexandra, who had a bid in the region of £150,000 accepted by Leeds last month, but he is resigned to departing Elland Road after being told that he is unlikely to feature in United's first team next season.
Reports over the weekend linked Carlisle United with a bid for Elding, and Crewe are still interested in resurrecting a transfer to Gresty Road, but a switch across West Yorkshire to Valley Parade is likely to seriously interest the 26-year-old.
Bradford failed to construct a serious challenge for promotion from League Two last season, but the club have shown ambition in the transfer market ahead of Stuart McCall's second term as manager.
City recruited ex-Sheffield Wednesday defender Graeme Lee and experienced midfielder Paul McLaren a fortnight ago, while Paul Arnison and Chris Brandon have also been added to McCall's squad.
The addition of Elding would further enhance the club's prospects of returning to League One, and United are awaiting a firm bid from Valley Parade.
Elding's availability has generated significant interest in his signature, and Leeds are keen to remove him from their wage bill with as many as two new strikers expected to join the club before the season begins.
The club are unlikely to consider any attempts to take him on loan, however, with six weeks remaining until the closure of the summer transfer window.
Elding became a Leeds player in January when United paid an undisclosed fee to Stockport for his services.
The striker made nine appearances but Gary McAllister has chosen to look for alternative options up front next term.
United have already signed Enoch Showunmi from Bristol City and McAllister is awaiting the outcome of his approach for Jay Bothroyd, who is surplus to requirements at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves have accepted a bid from Leeds – believed to be worth a maximum of £300,000 depending on appearances – but there is doubt over Bothroyd's willingness to accept a transfer to Elland Road and a drop into League One.
McAllister, though, looks increasingly likely to retain leading striker Jermaine Beckford for the 2008-09 term, and fellow forward Tresor Kandol could make his first pre-season appearance against Barnet on Saturday after returning to training.
Kandol has missed United's pre-season clash with York City and their tour of Eire due to a virus, but he has overcome the illness and could be in line to feature when Leeds travel to Underhill this weekend.
