Bad government policy

TRYING to compete with countries such as China, India and Brazil, by having a massive low-paid workforce is bad government policy.
The Chancellor said that immigrant workers help our economy to the tune of £6bn each year, yet we are set to give the £6bn in overseas aid.
Think of the extra energy used by two million souls, some being eventually car owners.
"Green" energy-saving policies have been drilled into us. We will never be able to produce cheap goods at a profit like China can.
To preserve "quality of life" our population needs reducing, not adding to, especially in the South East. Better positive action would involve stopping foreign countries using their "sovereign wealth funds" to cherry-pick purchase our best companies, especially in utilities.
