I'D like to suggest a way to save lives and money and empty the jails and also stop killings here and abroad.
Form a battalion, with all killers, rapists, drug dealers, and those caught carrying knives and guns. Send them to Iraq, or any trouble spot abroad; our decent lads can then return home. Any young offenders under 18 years, place them in a detention centre until they are 18 and ship them out. If this is not a deterrent, I don't know what is. Pay the officers in charge a good wage, there will be plenty willing to take charge.

Remove televisions and computers from the cells, stop the soft life inside, remove all magistrates who are weak-kneed and replace with people with common sense.
