The good news group

WE HEAR so many bad things about today's society and rarely hear the good news stories. On Monday evening a group of local performers, Onstage, held an evening of entertainment and music which raised £600 for playground and sensory equipment for the Leeds North West Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre, formerly Pennyfields and Greenmeadows schools.
So often children with special needs, additional needs, behaviour problems or disabilities are forgotten. This special group of people, Onstage, all gave their time and energy to help improve the quality of life for some of the city's most vulnerable children. Each month Onstage raise funds for different causes and should be commended for their passion and dedication to good causes.
As a governor of the nw silc, I would like to send the thanks of the pupils, staff and governors to all who gave their time and energy, and remembered our very special children and young people.
