IS anyone having problems with the traffic lights at the junction below? When coming from Garforth driving past Strikes Garden centre carry on until you get to the Sainsbury's roundabout – the traffic lights in the middle section are very misleading, sometimes they look as if they are not working at all and then other times the green light is so faint you can't see it and it suddenly flickers brighter as you drive past it.
On several occasions I and other cars have driven out of the retail park arrived at the lights where you can go left towards Selby Road/Cross Gates or right to go to Thorpe Park or Garforth which were on green only to have to brake as some cars have stopped and others have carried on causing myself and the other cars to brake in order to avoid an accident.

It has also happened on the other dual carriageway coming towards Garforth. If you turn right to go to the retail park, again you stop at the lights, go straight over and the same problem arises with the same traffic lights from the cars travelling to the roundabout on the left hand side, again causing drivers to brake.

This junction is an accident waiting to happen. I understand that the green light is louvred, why I have yet to find out, but something needs to be done. I would be interested to know if anyone else thinks these lights are not very clear.
