Leeds United fan to wear Manchester United shirt and eat sheep's testicle to raise cash for Children's Heart Surgery Fund

Kieran Brady is set to have his photograph taken next to Billy Bremner's statue whole wearimng the Manchester UInited shirt.

Father-of-three Kieran, 57, of Rothwell, is sales director of telecommunications company Gamma and is a trustee of the Children's Heart Surgery Fund.

His challenge is part of the charity's latest fundraiser called 'I'm a Director, Get Me out of Here.'

Bosses are being invited to put themselves at the mercy of colleagues to raise much needed cash for the fund in Yorkshire.

It provides life-saving medical equipment for the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit, parent accommodation for families and vital ward resources.

Kieran's work colleagues came up with ideas for him to carry out a series of challenges when donation targets were hit.

He video cold called potential clients dressed up as a genie and as Donald Trump once targets of £300 and £600 had been reached.

He then had to finish every work phone call by telling workmates 'I love you.'

Kieran also ate a Scotch bonnet chili pepper in front of colleagues.

Challenges yet to come include eating a sheep's testicle live on a work video conference watched by 100 people.

And he has agreed to get a semi-permanent tattoo of a work colleague's face on his shoulder.

So far he has raised more than £2,600 towards a target of £58,000 via www.justgiving.com/fundraising/challengekieran2020Kieran said: "The Manchester United shirt is going to be the hardest one. I have left the worst until last.

"I have been a Leeds United supporter all my life. I'm going to have to go very early one morning, get the photograph done and leave as quickly as possible.

"I will put the photograph on the company website to show I have completed the task."

He added: "It is hard for outgoing sales people to be at home month after month.

"The challenge has created a real buzz at work. People have enjoyed dreaming up challenges for me.

"There has been a lot of good natured banter, which has really brought the team together.

"It has helped a really worthwhile cause and has been really good fun."
