Coach Brian McClennan was far from happy, despite seeing Leeds Rhinos return to winning ways with a 46-8 victory over Huddersfield Giants.
Rhinos remain level on points with engage Super League leaders St Helens, who boosted their points difference advantage with a 68-12 demolition of Castleford Tigers.

Leeds scored three tries in the first half and added five more after the break, but McClennan, right, felt they were a long way below their best.

He said: "I was quite happy with the first half, but the second was poor. We have got a lot of work to do. If we want to stay in big games and compete at the top level of the game we've got to do better than this."

Rhinos hooker Matt Diskin suffered an elbow injury on his 200th appearance for the club and prop Ryan Bailey limped off with an ankle problem.

"Diskin had to come off pretty early. He will be icing up and we'll assess him on Saturday," said McClennan. "Hopefully it's not too bad, but he had to come off and he's a tough customer – he doesn't like to come off.

"We'll just have to cross our fingers. I'm not too sure with Bailey, but I don't think it's anything too major. Out of the two, I think Diskin would be the worst."
