Manchester United v Aston Villa: Latest team news
The severity of the foot injury sustained in Wednesday’s FA Cup win at West Ham has yet to be determined, but the Spanish midfielder looks set to join Bastian Schweinsteiger and Luke Shaw on the sidelines.
Phil Jones could be involved having played for the under-21s on Monday and Wayne Rooney could play his first Premier League minutes since February 13 after coming off the bench at Upton Park.

Club captain Gabby Agbonlahor is not available for the trip to Manchester United after caretaker boss Eric Black told him he had to undertake a two-week fitness programme.
The forward will partly train with the under-21s, the first team and individually to try to regain fitness with Villa set for relegation on Saturday.
Jordan Amavi (knee) is out until next season and Jack Grealish (ankle) is a doubt but Alan Hutton is available after suspension. Villa will be relegated if Norwich avoid defeat to Sunderland in the early game or if they fail to beat United.
