THEY are smart and charming with all the right chat but clearly this is not exactly what makes these men so popular.
Butlers in the Buff served up a storm as they waited on tables in nothing more than short black aprons, bow ties and wrist cuffs, as part of a recruitment drive at Boutique in Leeds last night.

Leeds 'Butlers' Richard Wilson, 31, photographer; Timothy Miller, 26, shrink wrapper; and Danny Campbell, 23, fitness instructor are male escorts with a twist, paid to attend events in skimpy clothing.

Richard, who joined the Bristol-based male escort agency two years ago, said: "I once spent an evening in a fire engine which was, what shall we say, rather claustrophobic," he said, adding: "It's amazing how quickly you forget what you are wearing.

"You get into it, enjoy yourself. It's not everyday you get paid to chat to people."

Customer Iona McCaie, 24, from North Devon, added: "It's role reversal. Men have had it their way for so long and now the boot is on the other foot."

The talent scouting team has been to Leeds several times already this year as they say there is a real demand in the North for the 'Butlers'.
"The job is incredibly social, fun and very well paid at £20 per hour," said Jason Didcott, founder of the company.

"The work is mainly evenings and weekends so it makes a great part time job. Current butlers come from all sorts of backgrounds from students and personal trainers to marine biologists and city bankers.
