Just found out about this today.
Mark, you were always a true
friend.
Even though we weren't in touch all of the time, you were always in my thoughts and always will be!!
You were truly one in a million with a gift of brightening anybody's day.
Just thinking about the times we had play-fighting to impress the girls........priceless!
That word sums you up totally!!
You will be sadly missed by me and everybody that ever met you!
My thoughts and best wishes to all your family.
Rest easy bud!

I can't believe you're gone Mark! It was only weeks ago that you were showing me the best way to strangle and attacker at aikido. You were my aikido idol, someone I always looked up to and you never failed to make me laugh. I will miss you! Jo. xx
Was totally shocked and deeply saddened by news of the accident. can't believe you're gone mate, this world will definately be a less humourous place without you laughing and joking on. rest easy. your old workmate, Bazz.

This is just the worst tragedy, I simply cannot believe it and am struggling to find the words to say how I feel. I just sit here and remember the times when we laughed ourselves almost to tears. I'll miss you always my friend. MTFBWY. Spoff.

Mark my best cous! The world has sadly lost one of life's grate unknown natural comedian and artist. I always said as kids you would one day be famous as I asked you to autograph a painting you did for me and you were when you became champion of the world with your aikido. Not quite in the way I had expected more likely to have been a top comic or comic strip artist, but you did excelled at everything you put your mind to so it could have been anything. I am so proud and honoured to have been part of your life and family.
Mark you were and are as always my champion!
Thank you Banzai love and miss you as always your ever loving best cous Anita XXX

I didn't know Mark personally, but I 'knew of' him through his mum-in-law, who I work with. My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. You seem like a very close-knit family, and I hope that closeness brings you some comfort and helps you through this tragic situation. Michelle H

The world has lost a bright light with you gone; everything seems a little duller now. I only met you a few times, but I thought a lot of you due to how incredibly happy you made my friend, you were a super cool guy whose smile shone through the darkest of rooms, I'm saddened deeply to think I'll never get to know you better. You touched the lives of everyone who knew of you, and you've left behind many folks who are better for having known you, we'll keep the fires burning bright for you bud, rock on! Cheryl x

I am so very sorry to hear this terrible news, I am reminded of the laughs we had on a friday night both at and after aikido. Also the trips down to Londan and abroad with the squad. I will always remember the help you gave me with the club and the grading certificate template you created for the kids gradings. Every time I print one of these off for the kids I will think of you and it will be a tribute to you. My thoughts go out to Mim and your family. Rest in peace mate - Ady
