The schools are taking the mick. I have a daughter that's supposed to finish next Tuesday for the summer break, however we found out last week that there's two teacher training days on Monday and Tuesday and we also found out today that when they break up on Friday they will be doing so at 12.30.

What is going on with them? If I take my children out of school in term time we are told we could be fined and that it's having an effect on the child's education. Well I ask you, is all the teacher training days and their striking not having an effect on our children's education Have they thought of this or is this a case of do as I say and not as I do?
